Details: Hale Centre Theatre continues its holiday tradition with its 13th annual production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol,” which runs through December 24, with traditional carols, stunning costumes, and memorable characters all guaranteed to enrich the holiday season for you and your family.

Details: This award-winning festival, now in its 23rd year, is one of the best-loves events for Arizona families. This event also features a stunning display of 1.5 million lights illuminating sixteen blocks of Historic Downtown Glendale.

Details: ZooLights, powered by SRP EarthWise Energy, is a magical experience guaranteed to illuminate your holiday season. New this year are several 3D light sculptures, 2D butterflies and lion cubs, and Music in Motion light shows featuring music from the movie “Polar Express” and “Winter Palace” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Admission: General admission is $18 ($16 online); member admission is $16 ($14 online); good any night. Value tickets with date restrictions are $12 ($10 online) for general admission and $10 ($8 online) for member admission. Children two and under are free.

Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade, Tempe

Date: December 12, 2015 | 6pm

Details: Be dazzled at the Valley of the Sun’s most unique holiday event – the Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade, presented by SRP at Tempe Town Lake. The Boat Parade features as many as 50 festively lighted boats of all sizes, more than a thousand luminaries which illuminate the sidewalks and paths of Tempe Beach Park, a special display provided by Tempe South Rotary, fireworks, and Santa.

Festival of Cheer, Peoria

Details: Designed to bring together the community of Peoria’s residents and businesses, the annual Festival of Cheer, features fun for everyone regardless of culture, holiday preference, or background. There will be various countries and culture exhibits, vendors and entertainment set-up throughout the park including SantaLand – a magical land of holiday cheer, where the spirit is bright, and the photo’s are complimentary.

Rawhide’s Snowy Christmas at Wild Horse Pass, Chandler

Date: November 26, 2015 – January 3, 2016

Details: Join Santa for the nightly snow fall and tree lighting ceremony on Main Street. Lights, entertainment, holiday stunt shows, and Santa are all part of the celebration. Drop off your (or your children’s) letter to Santa at Rawhide’s “Delivery to the SW Pole” mail box. Every child who sends a letter will hear back from Ol’ Saint Nick. Photos with Santa.

Admission: Individual Attraction/Show Tickets are $4.95 and Town Pass Attraction/Show Wristbands are $14.95. As always admission and parking is complimentary.

Polar Express, Williams

Date: November, 2015 – January, 2016

Location: Grand Canyon Railway

Details: “Does the bell still ring for you?”  The Polar Express Ride, presented by Grand Canyon Railway, has fast become a family tradition for many families all across the state. Children, young and young at heart, board The Polar Express in Williams, AZ for a delightful nighttime adventure to the North Pole and back. On the journey, travelers listen to the beloved Van Allsburg story, while enjoying hot cocoa and cookies. On the trip back, Santa walks through the carriages, gifting every boy and girl with their very own special silver bell.

Admission: Between $24 and $35. Overnight stay packages at the Grand Canyon Hotel are also available, starting at $304 for a family of four (two adults and two children), it includes train tickets.

North Pole Experience, Flagstaff

Date: November 20-December 28, 2015

Details: Delight in the magic of the holiday season by visiting Santa’s enchanting 400-year-old workshop at the North Pole Experience in Flagstaff, AZ. Visitors tour Santa’s 8,500-square-foot workshop including Santa’s Toy Hall of Fame, Elf University, Santa’s Bakery, and more. Children even get to glimpse into Santa’s secret sleigh hanger, “Area 47”.
